Build a Sustainable Relationship

Intro Message from Jack Burton

Do you, Beautiful Person, take this man, Jack Burton, as your Soulfully wedded partner in Funktastic creation?

This is way friggin' exciting! I mean, one of my favorite parts of making music is the interaction - the give and take of presenting something I've labored over, and the way people react to it.  It takes so many forms; we laugh together, we cry, you call me a ridiculous nut-bag, I tell you to shake "that thang", and everybody has a great time.

With your PAY WHAT YOU FEEL support, we get to take that interaction even deeper.  As a Patron you'll have access to exclusive content and your continued support helps create new projects and provides resources for making great live shows happen.

You're free to cancel at any time, but because of the content we get to share at Patronism and because you get to put your own value on it, I think we're going to have a great relationship.  And I hope you like getting behind the scenes because you just may see the wrinkled underpants of what goes into making music in my world:  you'll have access to rough drafts of lyrics (and the doodles that always end up in my notebooks), rehearsal recordings, blogs, footage of live performances, and other whacky videos. And naturally, studio projects and live recordings will be at your brilliant little fingertips for downloading, so you can cut a rug wherever you happen to be.

So, thanks for considering being a Patron, and don't forget to shake That Thang!

Drunken Londoners

Dec 29, 2011

on our way home from Zambia in 09 we had a layover in London. We hit this ridiculously awesome, 500+ yr old, pub called the White Horse. i had to pull out the guitar so i could say that i did a little buskin in London town...next thing you know we had new friends. they requested Snoop Dogg first, but eventually we ended up on this great Proclaimers tune "500 miles" (from Benny n June!)...which we really only remembered the chorus. great memory!
