About the Band / Bio

2-Bit Palomino is a harmony driven Trio, consisting of singer/songwriters Bill Ward, Andi Renfree & Peter "Ren" Renfree, based out of Houston, Texas. With the release of their self-titled CD in Oct. 2010, they were awarded Vocal Group/Duo of the Year in the 2011 Texas Music Awards. 

Bill Ward has been a beloved figure in the Texas Music scene for many years. His lyrically evocative songwriting and amazing stage presence have garnered him a wealth of loyal fans across the US. He has been a regular performer at both Kerrville and the Wildflower Festivals and has won numerous awards throughout his career.

Andi & "Ren" Renfree (AKA The Renfrees) hit the Houston music scene running several years ago. Their ever-growing fan-base is a tribute to the quality of their songwriting, the strength of their vocal harmonies, and live performance. Between them they have had more than 30 songs cut by various artists, including Chris LeDoux's inclusion of Andi's co-write 'The Buffalo Grass' on his 2003 release "Horsepower".
